About Sandy
Sandy Brouvalis combines her love of human connection, passionate interest in the human psyche and growth of individuals, and her broad life experiences, to provide a caring, attuned and authentic approach to therapy.
Sandy’s training in a range of therapeutic frameworks, as well as her diverse professional and life experience, helps her to understand your needs, and tailor therapy to you and your goals.
Sandy holds a Masters of Counselling and Psychotherapy and has also trained extensively in Internal Family Systems (Level 1), Interpersonal Group Therapy and Psychodrama, a powerful action method to explore the psyche.
Sandy’s career background also includes roles in engineering, business consulting, organisational development, local government and general management, bringing another dimension to her experience and approach.
Sandy has also completed research investigating the events in therapy that contribute to a client’s secure attachment to their therapist.
